How to Buy Handphone

Bismillahirrakhmanirrakhim...

It already in the mid of November. It means it was 2 month since I stayed here! However I am still, still can't used good english. Doushiyo ka na?

Okay, forget it.

Last week, I met mbak Riska who lived in Tsukuba. We met in Akihabara and it was almost 5 P.M. Actually, I really don't want go somewhere in the night because I am foreign who didn't know anything and everything is new for me. Plus, I don't have cellphone, what I have to do if I am lost? ask someone? but how can? my japanese is not good as well.

But it was a chance. I thought so when chance just came once, not twice. After thinking it an hour, I just let it go even the sky was cloudy. Here I went to Akihabara, alone!

As Ifa's advice, I followed it. I went to musashisakai by seibu line then changed into chuo line until kanda then changed into yamanote line and stop akihabara.

It was piece of cake, right. Yap! really but when arrived in akihabara, I was lost. I can't found exit gate! oh poor me. I looked around searched the exit gate but none. I was really lost that day and felt like how I can go here. I mustn't be here at that time and started to blame myself. I tried to calm down and avoid my tears haha yah my tears was going down. Afterwards, I tried to come back to the platform. Everyone weren't went to the upstairs but walked the line and jajajang! I found the exit placard! Alhamdulillah ya Allah~ I ran to the gate and saw mbak riska! I hugged her without thinking :D

Did you know, I was crying and laughing in the same time. I was really thank to god and felt like I am the luckiest girl in the world when mbak Riska said that she would go out if I didn't appear during 2 minutes. Hahaha but I touched down her in 1 minute left. How come if I couldn't see the exit gate and just stood in there,

When I was in Akihabara, I couldn't look around because there was limited time for us and its already 7 P.M. Mbak Riska guided me to buy handphone in Yodobashi. Haha It was like she felt pity to me because I couldn't contact someone without Wi-Fi.

It was like having japanese handphone even its a Iphone such like odd (for me). It is different with Indonesia or maybe another country. We have to devide what kind of provider that we want to used. Basically type of handphone is not particularly important, I means if we don't want to buy handphone which is able to brows the internet, we didn't buy the phone, just pay the monthly bills. However, if we want to buy the phone which is able to use the internet, its better to buy Iphone not smartphone. In my experience, Japanese people always use Iphone, smartphone is not popular here. For example, if we went to Yodobashi, they always promote and recommend Iphone than smartphone. So, if you want to live in Japan, don't think about type of handphone, just think which one of the provider that you want to use.

Actually, before deciding to buy handphone, I already browsed about provider. There are three popular provider handphone in Japan, that are Softbank, AU and Docomo. Every provider has character and they are very competitive. Softbank is really popular for foreign. I don't know everyone who is foreign that I knew always used Softbank. However, its true that softbank give free call in unlimited time for softbank fellow user. Their internet quota is pretty enough to me haha they give 9 GB per month, boi~ The weakness of softbank is the signal sometime doesn't good in some spot especially if the place is too high. Its basically my friend's story anyway. AU is the most populer provider today. I don't know which good ones that they called popular but my friend from senegal said that AU has special service for students. However, I didn't find this explanation when I asked them. They said the phone is free but actually they has already added the phone's price in the monthly bill and mostly 2 years. If I said I stay here in 18 months they will count it one year with the break contract and the monthly bill will more expensive than ones. Docomo is the softest than AU or Softbank but Docomo just offered Iphone 6 with the high price (for me). The problem is the phone actually, I don't like Iphone 6. It's realy thin and seems wider for my hand. *even my hand seems wide as well*

After looking after it, I decided to choose Iphone 5C *the jadul ones* Within recommendation from mbak Riska as well. At that time, mbak Riska was like surprise because when she bought her phone last year *basically similar* the price was more than 70 thousand yen and at this time, the price just around 4 thousand yen! Thanks god, you always give me fortune :D

It took 2 hour to finish the process and puchased it. When it almost finished, they offered me the Ipad 2 with the low price if I bought it as well. I was confused because actually I want to buy Ipad someday to read the material or just read the information from website. But it's like chance, the lower price I mean! Mbak Riska who also want to buy Ipad like devil who ready to persuade me. Oke well said well said~ its really tempting and I was tempted~

Iphone 5!

Ipad 2!
Oya, forgot it! finally I choosed Softbank for my provider. Actually, if we already bought the phone, the monthly bills will decrease. Its around 5 thousand/month. If we didn't buy the phone, the monthly bills will take around 15 thousand/month. For the information, If even we didn't buy the phone (Iphone 6 for the example, because this phone is popular and being promote now), the phone will be ours after 2 years.

Yappari, this is one of my story if you want to ask me about the japanese phone. Lalala I am going to do my assignment now! See you~

Salam mie ayam~!
