Hajimari no Kurasu

Actually I always write something like letter to the astronout every October. No! Its not like rabuletter, but letter to astronout. Just astronout :D

Yey! Today is the first day for the autumn class. There were so many student come to the university after holiday. It means my day as student already started!

As a PCS student, I have to take 30 credit for 2 years. Its less than my former university credit system. As I know, graduate student have to take 36-50 credit to finish the course. Therefore, I have to study hard because this course somehow new for me even actually there are some topic that very closed with anthropology. So, please pray and support for me. Onegaishimasu! :D

The first course today is about economic in middle east and north africa. To be honest, I don't know everything about this. I was blanked during the class. I didn't have any interest in this class at first, so I thought to pass this class. It also seemed that it haven't any related to my research. However, I was really..hm..somehow, sensei like someone that I knew. Haha yah! okay, he is ikemen. I like his hair and his eyes. Haha actually if his course not really hard to understand, I will take it. However, I even didn't know what he want to say. Its really hard for me. Thats why, I decided to not take it! So, bye ikemen sensei :D

The second course is about sociological approach for conflict issues. Its very impressed to me because sensei who taught was really like real sensei that I watched in dorama! He's wearing glasses with the curly hair and the low voice almost whispering. He didn't sit in his chair, just walked around us with the flat face but somehow changed in to serious face. That made me excited and sometimes made me nervous with the sudden question. Yep! This first week meeting, we had been challenge to determinate about peace. He asked us what peace is. Everyone gave different explanation include me. But then, it seemed that peace is something that can be created of us. For me in case, peace is something related with situation that everyone is able to understand each other without suspicious feeling. I thought the word 'understand' is higher than tolerant because tolerant is kind of know each other but sometimes suspicious feeling appear without desirability to share each other feeling.

I forgot an important thing to describe peace. Yep! Talking about peace is talking about human security. I guess everyone will say that peace is freedom, life without war, or something like that. Yap, like sensei said, human security and peace can't be separate because human need to live in peace, and peace is part of the way to life. Don't forget, not only human who need freedom, right :D

The third course is abou method. Sensei come with the serious face and made me really hard to understand. I recorded it with my phone and going to hear again. Actually, my ability about qualitative research is enough to take some research project but with this kind of material I have to think again and learn more about it. Yap! Somehow the methode quite different with my knowledge. And then, argh! I really hate quantitative. Should we separate it? hehe. I don't know but unfortunatelly this research methode was like package so I have to take both of them. I hope someone can explain to me clearly about R commands and friend. I just known SPSS for quantitative methode. But ya, I hope R or whatsoever more kind to me :p

Ah! Btw, Ifa sent email to me this morning. I really happy she didn't forget me. I just googled her name and found she had blog! Yey~ I was like kepo-in her. Lalala~ can't wait to meet her again :DD
